On-Site Shredding

Our on-site truck has the capability of destroying 3000 lbs. of paper per hour. Don't let our competitors fool you into thinking that they have the smallest shred size in town. They don't! We do! There is a reason why their trucks have a small, grainy, out-of-focus camera for you to view the shredding process. They don't want you to see the actual shred size. Ask them if they will open the back door to see the shred size. If they refuse, ask if you can follow the truck back to watch it dump the paper out so that you can see the actual shred size. Pierce and tear shredders are not complete shredding systems. Whole pieces of paper can and do pass through these shredders untouched. Checks pass through frequently!

Don't let an AAA sticker on the side of a truck trick you into thinking that this truck gives you an outstanding shred size. Pierce and tear shredders are AAA certified. Does it seem strange that this size shred could be given an AAA rating??? With American Document Destruction all paper is completely destroyed. Period! This machine pummels paper until it is small enough to fit through an inch-and-a-half screen. It cannot get into the back of the truck until is beaten down small enough to fit through the screen.

We don't have cameras on our trucks, we have windows so that you can see the actual shred size, and we will always open the back of the truck to show you your shredded material. If the truck is too full to open, you are welcomed to follow us and watch us dump the material. All paper is then recycled.

ShredderOff-Site Shredding

Off-site shredding is often used for large-volume customers. Our 100-horse power shredder can shred over 6 tons of paper per hour. Many of our customers like this method of document destruction because it is not only faster but also much less expensive. This powerful machine can shred just about anything. Microfilm, discs, tapes, credit cards, videos, clothing and plastic don't stand a chance against this machine. Paper is shredded down to a ½ inch size at a rate of 6 tons per hour. All material is then baled and sent to the mills to be recycled.
